Does your dog struggle with fireworks? Fancy some calming strategies that really work?  Tried things before and failed?  Coming up in August is a 6 day challenge (over 2 weeks) that will show you how to pair scent with behaviour modifications that really work.

This 6 day event will cover sound desensitisation, calming coats, food, calming games, and of course scent finishing off with a Q+ A  - if you have tried things before with no success learn what Inka taught me and calm your dog for fireworks night!

This will take place in a Facebook Group with daily lives covering the training of the day.
Each day if training will include scent and desensitisation and build on the previous day
Day 1 The Use Of Scent For Calming
Day 2 Noise Desensitisation
Day 3 Calming Dog Wear
Day 4 Calming Foods & Treats
Day 5 Dog Games
Day 6 Q+ A (lots of opportunity to ask questions throughout the week)

My blind dog has taught me a lot about sound and she can be very fearful of loud noises but always on fireworks night she is fine as we have prepared well for the night.

It is never too early to get ready and preparation is the key and slow and steady steps.
Join me and Inka in this 6 day Challenge and make Nov 2023 less stress than ever before.  The challenge lives will take place during the first 2 weeks of August - exact dates to be confirmed due to my work as an emergency medicine doctor I don't have my rota yet but lives will be available for reply until 3rd Jan 2024!

My aim is to help you find out what solutions might work best for you and your dog and to help you to gain advice in order to help support their emotional health on this stressful night.

I am an emergency medicine doctor who has a strong passion for holistic health and the benefits that essential oils confer play a strong role in my life and that of my dogs. I am also qualified in Canine Massage Therapy, an Animal Aromatherapy Specialist and registered as a consultant on The Essential Oil Vet Network and a Canicross Instructor, I am currently 1 years through a 3 years dog behaviour course but worked as a dog trainer during medical school and developed a strong passion for those nervous dogs that need that extra help.

I first used oils for natural skincare for them and me and then discovered their true benefit in helping my blind dog with her fear. I now use daily for various needs whether they are my canine athletes or disabled dogs or me!
