Dementia - Lifestyle Advice to Support Brain Health Before Diagnosis And Afterwards

Dementia is the cruellest illness - although our loved one is there in person we are robbed of their real presence.  As an A&E doctor I am so aware of what this awful disease involves and this is now amplified as my lovely mum also has dementia and so I see if from both viewpoints.

There is much that can be done to support brain health to do as much as you can to prevent the onset of dementia and also to support your loved one if they have a diagnosis.

This online class will look at nutrition to support cognitive function and optimise our health as we age, it will also look at what foods we should be encouraging our loved ones to consume too.

We will then look at brain training and how we can improve our neuroplasticity and keep our brain exercised which is crucial as we age.

We will then look at ways we can use essential oils  to optimise our health - improving sleep, reducing stress, good brain health and more.  And then how to support our loved ones who have dementia with some ideas for calming and soothing, supporting brain health and so much more.

I am an emergency medicine doctor who has a strong passion for holistic health and the benefits that essential oils confer play a strong role in my life and that of my dogs. I am also qualified in Canine Massage Therapy and a Canicross instructor.

I first used oils for natural skincare for them and me and then discovered their true benefit in helping my blind dog with her fear. I now use daily for various needs whether they are my canine athletes or disabled dogs or me!
